TRANSFORMING YOUR WORK LIFE.

We often experience something tugging at us to grow or change, but it is easy to feel overwhelmed or unclear about the way forward. Work life coaching is a way of jumpstarting your growth and getting support and guidance from someone who is in your corner.

HOW IT WORKS:

STEP 1: THE CHEMISTRY CALL

This free 20-minute call is a chance for us to connect briefly and get a feel for whether we are a good fit to work together. 

 

If you are interested in personal work life coaching, our chemistry call is an opportunity to discuss what you need out of coaching and ask any questions you might have about my approach. If you are interested in organization-sponsored coaching for an employee or member(s) of your team, or if you are an employee or partner who is interested in having your work life coaching sponsored by your organization, let’s start with this call.

STEP 2: PICK THE SERVICE THAT’S RIGHT FOR YOU

I offer two kinds of work life coaching: personal work life coaching, which is just between coach and client; and organization-sponsored work life coaching, in which your employer invests in your coaching journey. 

 

Whether personal or organization-sponsored, coaching conversations will hold you accountable, challenge you, and support you. Between sessions there will be assignments designed to develop new, sustainable skills and capacities in alignment with your needs. Sometimes homework will involve new reflective practices or activities outside of work, and sometimes you will try new ideas and skills on the job. Our conversations and your work between sessions are ultimately a co-created path aimed at growing you in ways you value and that are in alignment with your goals and dreams.

PERSONAL WORK LIFE COACHING OPTIONS:

SUPPORTED TRANSFORMATION

  • Ten 50-minute sessions over 6 months: nuanced and attuned 1-on-1 support and accountability to help you reach your goals

  • Personalized development plan provided at third session 

  • Advance schedule access

TRANSFORMATION LAUNCH

  • Three 50-minute sessions over 1 month: nuanced and attuned 1-on-1 support and accountability to help you reach your goals

  • An intake session, a goal-defining session, and a planning session

  • Personalized development plan provided at third session

QUICK BOOST

  • One 50-minute session to help you navigate what’s up for you right now

  • This option can be used for as-needed support for sticky work life situations of all kinds

  • The right blend of compassion and pragmatism to set you up for your next move

WRITE THE THING

  • Optional add-on for any other service

  • One 50-minute editing session where I provide specific feedback on your draft (up to 3 pages) 

  • Good for: documents that are difficult and/or triggering to write: job application cover letters, emails for navigating complex situations, résumés, resignation letters, etc. 

  • Cannot be used alone in the absence of a coaching meeting. For this service to be helpful, choose any coaching meeting (within a package or quick boost) to discuss your needs, your goals, the audience, etc.

ORGANIZATION

ORGANIZATION-SPONSORED WORK LIFE COACHING OPTIONS:

SUPPORTED TRANSFORMATION

  • Optional meetings with organizational representative(s) at beginning and end of coaching term 

  • Eight 50-minute client sessions over four month term providing nuanced and attuned 1-on-1 support and accountability to help you reach your goals

  • Personalized development plan provided to client at third client session 

  • Summary of main takeaways emailed to client after each session

TRANSFORMATION LAUNCH

  • Optional meetings with organizational representative(s) at beginning and end of coaching term

  • Two 50-minute sessions and two 25-minute sessions over a 2 month period

  • Includes an intake session, a goal- and plan-defining session, and two follow up check-ins

  • Personalized development plan provided at third session

  • Summary of main takeaways emailed to client after each session

For organization-sponsored coaching I offer an optional add-on service to help clients gain insight into how they are showing up and what their growth opportunities are at work. This is a human-centered 360-degree conversation.

 

  • Up to five 30-minute meetings with organizational representatives such as supervisor, colleagues, board members, and direct reports for multiple perspectives

  • Anonymous 360-degree survey of up to 20 staff

  • Up to 3 hours of document review, for documents such as work products, performance reviews, strategic plan, etc.

  • Report on findings

GOOD TO KNOW

WHERE WE MEET

Meetings can be virtual or, if clients are local to New Haven, we can meet in person. I also offer in-person strolling sessions. This is a great option for people who don't want to choose between movement self-care and getting their coaching session in. The best days have both! Walking or wheeling is always at a pace that is comfortable for the client. Accessible locations available.

COACHING IS FOR EVERY BODY

I offer a limited number of individual coaching spots at reduced cost for clients with financial need, with prioritization given to single caregivers, unhoused people, BIPOC folks, LGBTQIA+, disabled people, and/or artists & activists without access to ancestral wealth. Please reach out to discuss my sliding scale if cost would otherwise be a barrier to coaching.
